Rosewood dining table – Bramin

Rosewood dining table extends from 4/6 to 8 seater.

– Very good original condition table
– Extends fro 135cm to 195cm with leaf stored under table top
– Finger jointed detail at corners
– Turned and tapered rosewood legs remove for transport

Condition
Good original – original finish with some minor marks. Table has been used with extension leaf, so colour is consistent

Designer Henry Walter (HW) Klein was born in 1919 in Norway. After serving in the Norwegian Navy his passion for cabinetmaking began. In 1949 he moved to Denmark and studied interior design at the Tekniske Skill in Frederiksberg, where, he trained under the guidance of one of the greatest Danish designers and architects of all time, Finn Juhl . He finished his studies in 1952 and returned to Norway, where he founded his own interior and furniture company. His furniture designs were Classic post-war modern Danish style, super quality with perfect proportions and beautiful finishes.
He designed for the Danish manufacturer Bramin in the late 1950s until the company closed in 1980.
